katydid asked: My husband & I want to go to Disneyland this summer but I don’t want to spend alot of money on souveniers inside of Disneyland. I remember years ago, on Harbor Blvd. or Katella, there were places near some of the motels that had cool Disney gifts. Any answers appreciated. Thank you.

Gift Advice
There are at least half a dozen gift shops on Harbor where they sell cheap Disney souvenirs, good enough for the kids back home. They are either in or attached to the hotels on Harbor Blvd, between the Disneyland entrance (say, by the Tropicana) all the way to Katella. A short walk along Harbor will discover them. There are also a number of gifts at the 7-11 on Harbor and Katella (which, for some reason, is the busiest 7-11 in the US).
However, if you want to nab something special, go about 3 miles north of Disneyland on Harbor and Orangethorpe to the Disney Character Warehouse in the Orangefair Mall. You will find all sorts of souvenirs which are mostly overstocks. I found jackets there that I bought new at Disneyland for $78, on sale for half price. They have a mishmash of inventory, so you just show up and see what they are trying to clear out.
Good luck!

For tons of cheap Los Angeles Souvenirs check out Chinatown (http://www.chinatownla.com/) or the Toy District (http://www.centralcityeast.org/toys/index.html) in downtown LA.
